In a surprising announcement, Gary Williams announced that he will retire from his position as coach at the University of Maryland, for leadership in the past 19 seasons in his Alma matter.
The coach had 460 victories with the terpenes, including two Final Four trips and only the school national championship in 2002. The team went to 14 NCAA tournaments under her, including 11 in a row from 1994 to 12004th Before College Park, Williams coached in the American, Boston College and Ohio.
